Norton keeps blocking an attack

My Norton product keeps blocking an attack.

Due to the blocked attack, I cannot search in Microsoft Edge.

According to the threat report from the log at Norton, it says the following:

Category: Intrusion Prevention
Date & Time,Risk,Activity,Status,Recommended Action,IPS Alert Name,Default Action,Action Taken,Attacking Computer,Destination Address,Source Address,Traffic Description

Network traffic from matches the signature of a known attack. The attack was resulted from \DEVICE\HARDDISKVOLUME4\WINDOWS\SYSTEMAPPS\MICROSOFT.MICROSOFTEDGE_8WEKYB3D8BBWE\MICROSOFTEDGECP.EXE . To stop being notified for this type of traffic, in the Actions panel, click Stop Notifying Me.

Me as well, and trying to contact them is getting the 'higher volume' so I'm guessing they botched an update...

I am getting this issue too.
Do we just wait for a fix?

Same here. Using IE11, Google Chrome works, Firefox works. Norton Power Eraser came up with nothing. Hope they get it resolved soon. Bing is my "Go To" search site...

Here's what I got from an agent:

Mike: My apologies for any inconvenience caused. Do not worry, will do my best to resolve this for you.
Mike: We just received an update from our engineering team and they confirmed that we have an ongoing issue about this. This will be fixed within 24 hours.
Mike: Please run Liveupdate and scan after 24 hours.
Mike: Norton and Bing support are working hand-in-hand to fix this as soon as possible.

Try them free for 30 days. Norton Security ask an email and a password to send the product key validation. Also, you need the email and the password to complete the installation. Norton Utilities won't ask anything. You'll be ask to reboot:...
