Morning / Afternoon folks.
Cold this morn & windy, snow blowing around. Freakin' crazy ass weather. They got a 1/2 inch of snow on the ground 20 mins away in the higher elevations.

Afternoon and morning all from frozen Canada.
Happy Tuesday.
I'm with Mike, happily on my old V1709. Man they should pay you insiders.
Still thousands without power, Ontario is a big place and get away from the cities and the population isn't very dense. If you didn't clean up yesterday you are beat. Everything is frozen solid.
A sample of the ice in driveway. At least an 1 1/2 thick.

Looks like snow on top ice, seen it before & it makes things all the more worse/slippery.

Afternoon Keith, Paul and Andre
Morning Borg, AD
Supposed to get warmer tomorrow but snow still in forecast for Thursday. Just got to wait it out.
Keith it all came down as these ice pellets, you could here them hitting the windows for hours and hours. Basically dense ice covered in less dense ice. A neighbour down the street decide to clear end of driveway today. Ain't happening without a back hoe.

I can imagine most services & the town is shut down for a bit. It's one thing to get ice on top of snow, that makes it easier to clear....but ice under snow....a real PIA to deal with.
Glad you still have power. .

Well, looks like a short visit, my Wife called, she forgot to bring her AB's to work so I guess I'll be dropping those off. Out into the cold.....
. I have to go by the Wound Care Center anyway to pick up some paperwork.
You all take care & have a good day, & stay safe

We only closed for a day.
For those with power everything is back to normal. Schools and school buses running, wife went to the gym.
All levels of government are complaining about extra plowing and salt costs, who are they kidding, we are the ones paying.
Good tag line as it is an election year.

Good morning Ken, that is a lot of ice
I only got a small taste of that storm here. Temps are going into the 40's now, my ice is melting now, which is only on UN-paved surfaces here. Roads are fine.

It was 82° here a few days ago and now it is 32° and snowing.
Glad this missed you Mike. You had all those Nor-Easters this year.
It is suppose to be above freezing this afternoon, just, and with any luck I will be able to finish clearing driveway.
At some point today I'm going to head to electrical wholesalers. Want to figure out how to make a more permanent connection to furnace for Generator, mini transfer switch. Also need to figure on wiring from outside to inside, receptacles on both sides of wall.
