Some Friends trying to convince me to Upgrade from my Asus G11CD-K Desktop to Asus GL12 ROG Strix Gaming Desktop, with already 1080 Card included, 16gb of ram, Intel 8700K with Water Cooling (never used water cooling, still scared of it leaking and destroying everything lol) So not sure what i'll do yet, Option A get a 1080 card that hopefully fits in this system, and just upgrade that and stick with my Intel I7 7700 Chip longer, or bite bullet and grab 8700K based one

well Price wise $1999.99 for the highest end Asus GL12 model lmao--Currently sold out, so don't worry on me making sudden buy lol.

Depending on which Geforce 1080 video card i decide on or 1070 for my Asus G11CD-K Desktop probably not that much, EIther could go for maybe Founders edition from Bestbuy $349.99, not sure if would fit in system though lmao, right now have Geforce 1050 that came with system lol.

Cooling wise on this G11CD-K, large side vent, no intake fan in front, possibly space for one maybe, 1 Exhaust, and 135 MM Power supply fan

    Hi,
I don't believe cards got longer until the 1080ti triple fan design hit
If talking about height to the side of the case wall yeah founders is the shortest and the worst cooling it acts like an exhaust fan lol

    2k pricey too :/
You can probably build one for that and get a classier case

yeah i'll pick a dual fan one LOL, don't want worst cooling really lol..just alot to look around on, review reading, and measuring of current card, and all that jazz lol. Don't think worth honestly spending $2k when just got this Intel I7 7700 system last year, still life left in it.

I miss the single slot video card days lol, wasn't so hard deciding on one
