Possible to open MEMO- files in Win10?

    Hi there!
I have made some important sound recordings on my Samsung phone, the audio files are stored in the file type ".memo".

Is there a safe and simple (without having to download strange apps...) way to open/ read this files in windows 10?

    Thanx!

You have to rename the .memo to .mp3. It is because it is a proprietary Samsung format.

Apparently the .memo format is basically a zip file, rename its extension to .zip and you should be able to extract the audio files it contains in its media folder....

Each .memo file is a zip archive that contains a media folder and a memo_content.xml file. The text of the memo is in the /contents/content node of the xml document.

    It worked!
Its not possible to rename directly to mp3, but I did rename it to .zip at first, the file will then convert to a zip- folder. Open this folder, then open the folder "Media" inside, copy the new file (with long name) and place that copy on the desktop, rename file to .mp3. This file auto- opened in Groove Music and worked fine! No strange app download needed!

    Thanx!!
