    I must admit that I'm not sure why the imported POW files didn't properly add the plans for you.

    maybe it's because of the new Power Plan setting flyout via battery icon? I heard those only disable other power plans in favor of the W10 one.

    I was able to still add them on my laptop that only originally had "Balanced" because of the new Power Mode level setting.

    Well, I guess mines' is so new it might be a on a different build of OS so this trick might not work for me.

    Update: they were gone because connected standby is enabled so I have to disable it, reboot, then switch to desired plan. Afterwards, I re-enable connected standby, reboot, and behold, the plan is saved across the connected standby changes.
