The best way would be for each member who has an issue with an Insider build or directly related problem would start a thread for it in the insiders forum, rather than just post randomly in News posts

We've looked at Chatrooms in the past and they do not enhance the forum so are not worth the work to set them up and police them
I meant for MS to have a Chat Room not Ten Forums.

    I know,

but I was just preempting the inevitable follow up question from one of the members - Chat Rooms do not work in a forum based structure, they belong back in the old Bulletin Board days

Don't make this personal by making it sound like I don't test and report bugs, OK.

I DO use the latest builds released, and there are a lot of bugs to report, which I also do report. Only difference is that I don't install on physical hardware until I can verify that the most breaking bugs are fixed. I use Windows as it comes from MS, as much as possible to reveal issues that comes from MS itself.

Since Edge for Android(BETA) works like a charm, I assume the issues in Edge on Windows are in Windows itself and not in Edge. Right now I use that browser on all my devices 99.9% of the time and only use another browser to reveal possible site bugs rather than browser bugs.
I was only joking. Apologies for any unintended offence.

This. Too bad it will never happen. I tried for years to get folks to use the Insiders Subforum, or Category, or whatever they're called now, but was ignored or even given flack. So I gave up

I respect this. No harm done. Let's stay focused on the topic.

I totally agree with this, but as we know, this seems really difficult to accomplish.

We always prefer users to post in the best place for other users looking on a search, but it may be that a regular culling of off topic posts in news threads may be needed if things get any worse.

It's understood that many threads on a forum will go off topic after a while.

We purposely do not close solved posts as it enables later techniques to solve an issue to be added, in addition to follow up questions from new users with the same issue.

Maybe we need to revise this thinking for news threads as they are one of the main attractions to visitors to the forum, and in converting them from guests to users, If a non member has to trawl through pages and pages of off topic posts to fully understand the status of the news in the thread many will not bother, which is bad for the forum

Referring to this build, on topic, has anyone discovered a problem, bug, incompatibility with the version? Seems smooth and so far no problems with other programs I run -- MS Office and Corel Draw mainly.
